The event log is reporting that a key path component is missing when windows installer performs the key path checks prior to starting up the application - which happens every time the application is started, as part of the self-healing functionality of MSI apps.

If you are only getting this error on some machines, presumably the rest still have the file in their temp folder and so your delete action failed to work on them.
